Dhanamjaya Rao is responsible for “drought proofing initiatives & institutional capacity building” at SEARCH since 2015. He has spearheaded implementation of watershed activities in Prakasam district. With over 24 years of experience in the development sector, including working in bilateral and national level projects, Dhanamjaya is passionate about learning new developments in the NGO sector. 

Prior to SEARCH, he has held various positions in development organizations AP WELL, CARVE, and holds a Master degree from Andhra University in social work.
