Segregation of Waste with ITC Limited
Did you know that not segregating our waste is the major deterrent in reusing and recycling of waste, which leads to landfills, health issues and pollution of natural resources.
SEARCH is working in rural areas of Andhra Pradesh, training communities on Source Segregation and Home Composting.
Our decentralized community owned waste management is thriving now in close to 150 villages covering 1 Lakh households. We have helped avoid 2000 metric tonnes of waste reach landfills.
We thank our partner ITC Limited, to have given us this opportunity to make a difference to the society as part of their Mission Sunehra Kal CSR programme.
